The Whitstable Philatelic Society was formed in the 1950's.
As at last year we had an active membership of about 50.
During the past year we have increased our membership by about twenty percent, quite simply amazing for an old time hobby in the 21st century!
We have also helped about twenty local families with their inherited collections of stamps and postcards.
This has also involved donations to the club and to charity, where we have been working with the Pilgrims Hospice.
We are always looking for new opportunities to help local families with their collections and to encourage new members.

Thursday 19th September 2019 at 7:00 pm when we will be having a Special AUCTION of Stamps and Philatelic Material. Doors for this event open at 7pm for viewing. The Auction starts at 7:45 pm. A copy of the catalogue will be available about two weeks before the Auction, by email only on request to Adrian at the email address shown below.
Thursday 17th October 2019. Displays by Members. These Displays are usually of Themed Stamp, Postcard or Postal material.
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday or each month (except during the Summer Holiday season) at the Social Centre, Parish of our Lady Immaculate, 15A Castle Road, Whitstable CT5 2DY (on the SE corner of the Northwood Road and Castle Road junction in Tankerton; enter large car park from Castle Road).
