Kent Adult Education provides courses for individuals and bespoke courses for businesses in areas such as creative skills, health, sport, leisure and self development.
Our courses range from those that help you to develop a hobby, for example painting and drawing, sculpture, pottery, silversmithing and embroidery, to running, yoga, Pilates and dance. We also offer a range of more unusual courses which are ideal for people looking for something different; examples include falconry, canoeing and climbing.
Our wide range of language courses are very popular and include courses in French, German, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin and Russian.
To broaden your qualifications why not enrol on GCSE English, mathematics or psychology, A2 photography or textiles? Courses for general interest include history and law, and for work related courses we have bookkeeping, accounting, ECDL, computing and management. We also have a beauty and complementary therapies programme allowing individuals to gain ITEC qualifications across a whole range of subjects.
If you are an employer, speak to us about upskilling your staff. This can be through our FREE Skills Plus provision offering English and maths tuition, or we can tailor courses to your requirements, such as first aid, manual handling and health and safety.
We are a Train to Gain training provider, and are offering NVQs in supporting teaching and learning in schools, customer service, ITQ, children's care, learning and development and playwork. The only cost to you is the time devoted by your staff. (subject to eligibility criteria)
